The gadwall, also known as the southern term 'Grey Duck,' is a big duck that not only flies pretty but also pretty damn well. Personally, I have never seen many grey ducks in art or elsewhere, and I think they deserve more appreciation. When hunting in south Louisiana, it's hard not to develop a liking for these birds as they work their way through your spread. It's a pretty cool bird to consider, given that banding operations to capture them never really go as planned. They are mostly uninterested in feeds like other ducks, making it challenging to catch them with the big nets shooting up over them. Embroidered on the front is a captivating image of a grey duck 'banking' back towards the spread. It's on a 'raw' color 100% hemp hat, with the slogan 'Be Different, Be You' embroidered in chocolate on the back, right above the snapback."
